St. Augustine Fishing Report June 10th...

Wow!.. the conditions this morning were absolutely beautiful. The water looked like glass as there was no wind. The baitfish were everywhere and the redfish were giving chase. I had Phil and Miles join me this morning to hunt for some hungry reds. We started by tossing a top-water plug made by Heddon called a Super Spook Jr. (Local tackle shop the Bait Bucket has a nice selection of these lures). Phil was first to hook up to a nice slot red and then Miles caught a few nice ones on top-water as well. After the sun got high we switched to mud minnows on Slayer Inc. jigheads and caught about a half dozen more slot to upper slot redfish. Nice catching fellas!
