St. Augustine Fishing Report December 22nd...

What a beautiful day on the water in St. Augustine today! I had Jake and his son-in-law's Todd and Ed out for a day of fishing. We started out tossing some jigs for trout and caught a few but when the sun came out it was time to do some sight-fishing for redfish. We saw a few schools but with the high winds it was tough to get a good shot at them at first. Jake was first to strike and hooked a nice red out of a school. Once the tide got right they really started to catch 'em... Everyone got some BIG upper to over slot redfish all on Fishbites paddle tails and jerkbaits on Slayer Inc. jigheads. We ended the day catching some black drum as they had a bunch of people waiting for a fish dinner. Great time today fellas... how about that sunset to finish the day!
