St. Augustine Fishing Report December 30th...

Wow!!! What an outstanding day of fishing in St. Augustine today. I had Mack out on the boat this morning and we went in search of some redfish. Our first stop only offered one small red but after quickly changing locations and the sun coming out Mack absolutely wore the redfish out, ending the day with just shy of 20 reds! All the redfish were sight-fished, mostly with a Fishbites paddle tail on a Slayer Inc. jig. He did catch a few on the Sebile Stick Shadd and ended the day catching a few monsters on a top-water plug. There is nothing more exciting than sight-fishing a redfish with a top-water plug. At one point Mack hooked a big red and quickly got it to the boat and then instantly cast back out and hooked another one (see the 1st pic). I had a blast watching you catch all those fish Mack... can't wait to do it again.
