What an absolute beautiful day on the water!... This morning I had repeat client Chris and his wife Nicole out for a day of fishing in St. Augustine. It was our first cool morning of the year with air temps in the 60's. They wanted to fish with artificial lures today so they mostly tossed top-water plugs. Chris was up first with a nice slot redfish on top-water. After a couple more fish missed the plug Nicole hooked into a really feisty upper slot red on top-water. A couple minutes later she landed another red. We switched up locations and Chris hooked into a really big red but about halfway to the boat the line broke (probably on an oyster bar). We also found a big school of jacks where they each caught some on top-water. Chris also landed a nice slot trout. Great of fishing as always guys!
