Wow!!!.. What a fantastic day of fishing in St. Augustine!... This morning I had Mark, Bob, and Daniel out for a charter. We stayed up i the shallow stuff all day today and found some big fish. Bob was up first with a big flounder and a short while later Mark hooked into a nice slot redfish. We switched it up a bit and found a huge school of big jacks that gave them some serious drag screaming action. Then came the MONSTER at our next stop. Bob landed a nice upper slot redfish and was pretty thrilled but a few minutes later he hooked into one of the biggest redfish I've ever heard of being caught in the shallow water backcountry in St. Augustine. This beast was over 40" and weighed over 21lbs! Way to go Bob... that is truly a fish of a lifetime! We finished the day with a few more jacks and another big slot redfish. Great day fellas!
