What an awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine!... This morning I had repeat clients Jeff and Wanda out for a half day charter. We stayed up in the shallow stuff today looking for some redfish... and we found them! After they both made several great casts to a big school of redfish Wanda finally found one that was hungry. It was a beast of a red weighing in at over 7.5lbs and measuring 26.75". The wind picked up a bit so we decided to head for some more "backcountry" creeks where both Jeff and Wanda caught a bunch of redfish including some nice upper slot fish. They also caught a few nice trout and flounder as well. We finished the day looking for some more trout but there was more bluefish around than we knew what to do with. Great day guys!... looking forward to tomorrows trip!
