What a fantastic day of fishing in St. Augustine!... This morning I had repeat client Dave and his buddy Bob out for a charter. The weather was just about perfect today with air temps in the low 80's! These Florida winters are tough I tell ya. Dave was up first with a big flounder that hit a top-water plug.... a very rare way to catch the flatties. We then set up to catch some trout and that's just what the guys did. I lost count but they each caught some nice slot trout with a few of them being really fat fish. Bob also got a nice little flounder. The wind really started cranking so we changed locations and got into some nice redfish. They both caught some nice slot reds. Both Dave and Bob got the Northeast Florida Inshore Slam today (Redfish, Trout, Flounder). Way to go fellas!
