What an absolute awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine!... Let's actually start with the fishing report from yesterday... very cold and very windy with only a couple small redfish, trout, and flounder to show... fast forward to today and the weather, although still a little chilly, warmed up a bit and the fish were seriously chewin! This morning I once again had Nancy out for a half day charter (Nancy always seems to luck out with the weather). We mostly stayed up in the extreme shallows today where we found quite a few upper slot redfish that were more than willing to chew. The fish were doing thier best to get away today with some awesome drag screaming fights. After getting our fill of big redfish we headed to a little deeper water where Nancy caught some nice slot trout and a few flounder as well. She had the Northeast Florida slam 3 or 4 times over today. Great day on the water Nancy!
