What an awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine!.. This morning I had Pete and Will out for a half day charter. We started off a little slow but once the tide got right the fish really started to chew today. Both Pete and Will each caught some really nice fish including their limits of keeper reds, some really big trout, a few black drum, and Will even got a nice flounder. Pete is the owner of Backwater Fishing Company (www.backwaterfishingco.com) and the circle hook jigheads they used today were working great. Will is a seriously talented angler and was one of the best bait-caster slingers I've had the pleasure of fishing with. The weather was just about perfect today... I'm lovin' this spring time fishing! Really fun day guys!
