Wow!!! What an awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine! Nathan and Sandra have been fishing with me for years and it seems like every time they come down in the spring for their week long fishing trip they about a week early for the cobia run... Today was the day though and Nathan got his first cobia. A nice one too at right about 20lbs. We only saw the one fish out there today and Nathan made it count. Looks like the next couple of weeks might get good along the beach... I think the water temp needs to come up just a bit. Not only was the nearshore fishing good but they also limited out on redfish inshore this morning. Sandra caught a HUGE redfish to end the day... it weighed over 12lbs! Fantastic day of fishing guys!
