What an awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine!... This morning I had repeat clients John, Dan, and Tom out for a half day charter. Things started off quick with the guys catching some nice slot sized black drum. Tom was the first to catch a slot redfish a short while later. Then the tide got right and the guys started catching some more reds. At our next stop it was more of the same with quite a few redfish coming to the boat including a few upper slot fish. At our last stop of the day Dan landed another big redfish.. this time it was over the slot at 28.5". It put up one heck of a fight ripping the line off the reel and darting under the boat several times before being landed. Really fun day of fishing guys!
