Wow!!! What an epic day of fishing in St. Augustine!... This morning I had repeat client and friend Frank and his daughter Meg out for a half day of fishing in St. Augustine. Things started off quick with both Frank and Meg hooking into some big bonnet head sharks on the first couple casts of the day. Once the tide got right the redfish started to bite at our next couple of spots... and the redfish were BIG today! They both took turns catching quite a few huge reds along with quite a few nice slot redfish. These fish were fired up putting up some serious drag screaming fights. They also caught a few black drum and Frank got a nice flounder ta boot! Awesome day guys... looking forward to tomorrows trip!
