What an awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine!.. This morning I had Capt. Chris Johnson from Sea Squared Charters down in Marathon (www.seasquaredcharters.com) out for a day of fishing. He started off by tossing a top-water plug at first light and the first fish of the day was a feisty jack. Next up Chris got a couple nice trout on the top-water. After a couple misses Chris hooked into a really big redfish on top but after a short drag screaming run the hooks pulled. Chris did get a red on the top-water... even though it was only about 10" long ; ). Once the sun got up a little we decided to switch to some bait and thats when the reds really started to chew. The bite slowed a little as it warmed up but it was really fun having a great angler on the boat today! Thanks again Chris!
