What a beautiful day on the water!... This has been a really mild summer as far as temperature goes and this morning was just about perfect with a nice cool breeze and an awesome sunrise. I had repeat client Paul along with Bob and Cody out for a half day charter today. The fishing got off to a little bit of a slow start today. At our first stop we could see the redfish pushing around but they just didn't want to bite. At our next stop Cody hooked into a big shark. This shark made some drag screaming runs on the light tackle we were using. A short while later Bob hooked into a nice size redfish but the fish spit the hook right at the boat. We then had to cut the trip a little short today as a nasty storm cell moved in on us. Really fun day guys and looking forward to taking you out again next year.
