What an awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine! This morning I had repeat clients John and Travis out for a charter. THe guys started off by tossing some top-water plugs at first light. Travis was up first with a nice slot red that inhaled his plug. A few minutes later he hooked into another red. It went like that for most of the morning with both John and Travis hooking into multiple redfish on the top-waters. After having fun with the redfish we decided to make a run off the beach in search of something really big. THe bait was around but after only a couple hookups we came back inshore and ended the day with a couple more big redfish including one monster fish that John caught that was over 8lbs! Great day fellas!
