What a beautiful day on the water!.. This morning I had Merrill and Susan out for a half day of fishing in St. Augustine. The weather was just about as good as it gets with calm wind and an air temp of about 72 degrees. We started off by tossing some top-water plugs but only had a few blowups and no hookups. We switched it over to some bait and Merrill caught a nice upper slot redfish. A little bit later Susan caught a nice jack on a top-water plug. At our next stop Merrill caught a couple more redfish. At our last stop of the day Merrill hooked into a really big redfish that put up a great fight all the way to the boat. Great day of fishing guys!
