What an absolutely beautiful day on the water!... This morning I had repeat clients Nancy, Susan, Donna, and Evelyn out for a half day of fishing in St. Augustine. We had to cancel one of our trips last week due to bad weather but today it was about as nice as it gets with air temps in the 70's and just the perfect amount of sunshine. The fishing was great as well. We found some nice redfish up in the shallows today and the ladies each caught some nice redfish. We were mostly sight-fishing as the slicked out clear water conditions made it perfect. Most fish were caught on bait but Nancy got a nice one using a Fishbites paddle tail on a Slayer Inc. jighead (I asked her to teach me her technique as I made a cast with the same rig and didn't hook up... but she's keeping it a secret). The fish were putting up some great fights as well today. Always a fun time ladies!
