What an awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine!.. This morning I had Jim out for a charter. THe weather was great with a decent amount of sunshine and mostly a light breeze. Perfect for Jim as he is an avid fly fisherman. We found some fish right off the bat and some decent shots but the fish were a little spooky with the clear water and tough to get close to. A short while later we found a relly big school of really big redfish. Jim hooked up a couple time on fly but they came unbuttoned. We kept at it and Jim landed a nice one on fly. The wind picked up later in the day and he switched to a Slayer Inc. paddle tail and caught some more upper slot redfish. Really fun day Jim!
