Another great day of fishing in St. Augustine!... This morning I had repeat client John along with Argan out for half day charter. After having to cancel my trips the last two days due to some crazy cold weather it was nice to get out on the water today. This is typically one of the best times of the year to catch redfish schooled up on the flats but the colder than normal weather has the fish acting a little weird. We did find one nice school of reds on the flats and Argan was able to catch a fat 26.75" redfish on a Slayer Inc. paddle tail. We chased them around for a little while then we went to some deeper water where John landed a nice upper slot redfish. We spent the rest of the trip in the creeks catching some more redfish. Fun day as always guys!
