Another beautiful day on the water!... This morning I had David out for a half day of fishing in St. Augustine. The weather was bout as good as it gets first thing with barely any wind and one of the prettiest sunrises I've seen all year. At our first stop we found quite a few redfish up in the extreme shallow water. David tossed a top-water lure and had more than a few give chase but none really hit the lure hard enough to hook up. At our next stop David caught a nice slot redfish. We made a couple more stops and messed around with the fly rod but the fish just stopped chewin. Really fun day David.
