St. Augustine / Palm Coast Fishing Report April 26th, 27th...

What an awesome couple of days of fishing in St. Augustine!.. This is a special time of year here in St. Augustine. The cobia are migrating up the coast and this weekend we saw the first wave of them. On Saturday I had Austin out. He caught 4 nice size cobia using a Slayer Inc. jighead and paddle tail. On Sunday I had a cancellation and I invited my brother Todd and nephew Christian out. We caught quite a few fish and Todd hooked into what was the biggest cobia I've ever seen! He and Christian fought the fish for over and hour only to have him spit the hook right at the boat. They also got to have a close encounter with a huge hammerhead shark that was swimming right next to the boat. Really fun times and looking forward to getting out there and catching some more!
