Wow!!! What an awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine!.. This morning I had Steve and Shannon out for a half day charter. Steve and Shannon are seasoned anglers and tournament fisherman and they wanted to use some artificial lures for redfish... so we did. They started with top-waters and Shannon was up first with a nice redfish. After a few hits and misses they switched to a sub-surface lure and Steve caught a perfect slot redfish. Shannon caught a few as well. A short while later the guys caught some nice trout including a monster that Steve got to the boat. We then made a run off the beach and they hooked into some HUUUGE sharks. Shannon actually got one all the way to the boat. This thing had to be over 150lbs! Really great day fellas!
