St. Augustine / Palm Coast Fishing Report August 23rd...

 Wow!!! Another awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine!.. This morning I once again had David and Jim out for a half day charter. The guys tossed some top-water plugs at first light and caught some really nice redfish. They even had one double up on the top-waters! Jim stole the show though with an absolute MONSTER of a trout. This "gator" trout put up a great fight and sounded like a bowling ball being dropped in the water when she took the plug. After the sun came up a bit we made a move where the guys caught some more redfish. We finished the trip off with a trip to the beach where we found some tarpon rolling around but couldn't get any takers. They did hook into some big sharks though. Great couple of days fellas!
