St. Augustine / Palm Coast Fishing Report January 16th...

Wow!!! What an incredible day of fishing in St. Augustine!.. This morning I had repeat clients Shane and Leon out for a half day charter. The weather was as nice as gets with little to no wind and air temps in the upper 60's! We started out by finding some big schools of redfish but early in the AM they were a little spooky. Once the sun came up they started to get frisky and the guys started to catch some big upper slot fish. They were sight-fishing using the Slayer Inc. Lures SST XL paddle tails today and the new Okuma Inspira reels were getting a nice workout (If you're in the the market for a new reel you have to check this one out!.. cost much less than most and feels and performs better than much more expensive reels). We even got a bonus triple tail up on the flats today. Really fun day fellas!
