Dry-launching the Egret Flats boat December 24th....

After posting this short video clip to my social media outlets I've got a lot of questions on how exactly I get the boat to launch without getting the trailer wet. It's pretty simple really. The trailer, made by Ameritrail, is designed to launch the boat this way. I also coat the carpet on the bunks (when dry) of the trailer with silicone spray (about once a month or so). By launching the boat like this your trailer and all its metal components will last longer and look better. Of course having the Egret 18.9 flats boat makes this easy as well as it's super light, especially for it's size. Merry Christmas Eve!!!
