What an awesome day of fishing! I ran two trips today and we caught some great fish. This morning I had Jim and his wife Liz out for a morning of tossing top-water plugs for redfish. Liz was first to hook up to a monster 10lb redfish. Jim was next with another monster 12lb bohemuth of a redfish. Back to back huge redfish on top-waters... it doesn't get any better than that!
This afternoon I had Bill, his daughter Chrissy, and her friend Erin on the boat. We had a really good low tide and fished with live mud minnows on Slayer Inc. jigheads. Erin caught the first big redfish and then Chrissy followed. They ended up catching some really big upper slot redfish and a few flounder as well. Erin caught the Northeast Florida slam consisting of the redfish, trout, and flounder. Great fishing guys!
