Another great morning on the water!... The wind was bowing off the ocean and that made the temperature just right right for the whole trip. Today I had Ned, his son Jamie, and his son-in-law Russell on the boat. We started by tossing some top-waters where Russell was the first to catch a redfish. A few casts later Ned hooked and landed a nice upper slot redfish on his top-water plug. We had a about a half dozen other blow-ups and then decided to switch it up to some live bait. We caught a few more really nice reds on live mud minnows including a 6+lber caught by Russell (Last year Russell got a nice 26" red while on a trip with me and this year he almost topped that one).
