After a few days off the water I couldn't stand it so I took my buddy Gib out this morning to do some scouting for the rest of this weeks trips. We started tossing top-water plugs and got a nice trout and a nice redfish. We had a ton of blow-ups from fish that just didn't get hooked up. After having some fun with the top-waters we switched to some Fishbites paddle tails and caught another half dozen or so redfish including a few nice mid to upper slot fish. The weather was beautiful and the fishing was great... what more could you ask for!-Capt. Tommy
