What an awesome day on the water. Today I had Dave and Michelle out for some sight-fishing action. The tide wasn't quite right to go after the reds when we first got out so we decided to try for a few flounder first. They caught a few flounder and then the sun popped out and it was time to find the reds. Dave was first to strike with a nice upper slot fish... the sun was a little in and out today but when it was out we found the fish and they each caught quite a few. Dave even caught a few on a top-water plug (all other fish were caught on a Fishbites / Slayer Inc. jig combo). There's nothing like seeing those fish chase down a top-water! I always have a great time with Dave and Michelle... I think they love to fish as much as I do.
