What a gorgeous day of fishing in St. Augustine. After spending a few days at the Egret Boats booth at the Miami International Boat show I was itching to get back on the water. This afternoon I had Nancy and her friend Susan out for a half day trip. Every time Nancy is on the boat the fishing is good and today was no exception. The air temp today was just about perfect... somewhere in the upper 70's and despite the high gusty winds we were still able to find some really good fish. We caught a few decent redfish but really got into a good black drum bite today. Nancy and Susan put about 15 black drum in the boat today with most of them running in the 4-6lb range. They must have doubled up at least 4 or 5 times. Good times as always!-Capt. Tommy
