The fishing is great right now in St. Augustine!... and the weather is perfect for a day on the boat. This morning I had John, Paul, and Rob out for a half day trip. They started by tossing some top-water plugs and had a few redfish come up and swipe at their plugs. Rob got one nice upper slot fish to stay connected. Once the sun got up we moved to some deeper water where Paul got a perfect 27" redfish that gave up one heck of a fight. Our last stop of the day we had constant action with quite a few keeper sized trout as well as quite a few bluefish, ladyfish, and more redfish on just about every cast.
