What an awesome day on the water!.. The weather was absolutely perfect and the fishing was on fire. I had Kathy and Suzie out for half day charter this afternoon. They always seem to catch some really nice fish when they come out with me and today was no exception. We started up in some shallow stuff and got a few fish including a trout, a flounder, and a redfish. We then moved to another spot and caught a few more redfish using live finger mullet and mud minnows on Slayer Inc. jigheads. Once the tide got right we moved to some deeper water and the bite really turned on!... I lost count but both Kathy and Suzie caught some really big redfish from upper sot size to well over slot.
