St. Augustine Fishing Report July 1st...

What an awesome day on the water!... This morning I had repeat client Tim and his friend Brent out for a half day of fishing in St. Augustine. We started up in the shallows tossing top-water plugs. We had a few good blowups but no takers (Tim hooked up to a big trout only to have him shake the hooks loose right beside the boat) so we switched it up to a popping cork with a mud minnow pinned to a Slayer Inc. jighead. Brent got a nice flounder then Tim hooked into a nice redfish. We then moved to some deeper water where they each caught a few flounder including Brent's MONSTER doormat flounder. What a beast!.. Great time as always fellas!

St. Augustine Fishing Report June 28th...

What an absolutely beauiful day on the water... This morning I had repeat clients Frank and his son Russ out for a half day of fishing in Flagler Beach. They started by tossing some top-water plugs along a shallow grass line. Frank and Russ both got some really nice trout on the top-waters. We then decided to move up into some fresh water up in the Tomoka River. We found a few snook as well as a few trout up in the river. We also found some tarpon. They hooked several 20-30lb tarpon and got some really great jumps out of them before they spit the hook. What a beautiful place Tomoka is! Thanks again guys can't wait to do it again soon!
