What an awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine!... This morning I had repeat clients Jeff and his some Jared out for a half day charter. We started up in the shallows looking for some redfish and Jared was quick to catch a nice one on a live mud minnow. They fished a little while longer inshore and had some fish pop their top-waters but we had tarpon on the mind... so we headed off the beach and Jared hooked into a MONSTER of a tarpon. It was a team effort and Jeff fought this big fish like a pro landing it in about 45 minutes. This was a really heavy fish probably weighing in somewhere between 125-150lbs! Great job guys!-Capt.
