St. Augustine Fishing Report September 4th

What a beautiful day on the water! This morning I had repeat clients Skip and his son Tyler out for a half day of fishing in St. Augustine. We started up shallow tossing top-water lures for redfish. Tyler hooked and landed a nice one out of a small school. We had a few more good blow ups and then switched over to live bait but the reds just were not having it. We decided to head off the beach to see what we could get in to. We found a large school of mullet being crushed by tarpon and sharks. THey each hooked into some mean sharks and we jumped a few tarpon as well. They actually had a tarpon double up a one point. Always a good time guys!
