St. Augustine Fishing Report November 5th...

Another great day of fishing in St. Augustine!... It was good to be back on the water (I was on vacation for the last 8 days). This afternoon I had Bob, his wife Nancy, and his son Paul out for a half day charter. Things started out looking bleak as the wind was whipping in excess of 30mph. That didn't stop us from giving it a go and I'm glad we did as the fish didn't seem to mind the wind at all today. At our second stop of the day they pulled in 5 or 6 nice redfish and Paul caught one of the craziest things I've ever seen.... A cobia. It's not crazy that he caught a cobia as we catch a bunch of them every year. It's the fact that he caught him in the waaaay waaaay back-country brackish water. Never seen one even close to there before. At our next stop they caught a half dozen or so more nice redfish. Great day guys!... even if it was windy.
