Wow!!! What an incredible day of fishing in St. Augustine! This morning I had repeat client and good buddy Dave along with Tom for a half day charter. We mostly targeted redfish today and redfish is what we found! At every stop today both Dave and Tom were catching some really big upper slot redfish. We actually lost count how many big reds they threw back today. They also caught some nice flounder and trout along with a few bluefish as well. The bait/rig of choice was a mud minnow on a Slayer Inc. 1/4oz jighead. As you can see from the pic above Dave distilled the myth that having bananas on the boat makes for a bad day of fishing.
