What a great day of fishing in St. Augustine... Today I ran two charters and this morning I had repeat client Nancy along with her friends Sandi and Mike out for a half day charter. We started off quick with a few really good sized black drum. Nancy caught a nice trout at our next stop and then again Nancy caught some really nice sized slot redfish. We finished the day with Sandi catching an upper slot redfish. On top of the great fishing the weather was just about perfect.
In the afternoon I had repeat clients Forrest and Shea out for a half day charter. We started by fishing a deep hole in a creek where an oyster bar claimed a few nice redfish before we could get them to the boat. The bite was a little slow for awhile but we found a nice slot redfish willing to play along with some nice black drum. Great fishing guys!
