Wow!!! What a great day of fishing in St. Augustine!... This morning I had repeat client Kathy and her friend Lou out for a half day charter. They started off tossing top-water plugs and Kathy was quick to hook into a nice trout. Next Lou was up with a nice slot redfish... Her very first redfish, and it was a slot fish caught on a top-water. Great job Lou! We switched it to some live shrimp and then Kathy got a nice flounder. At our next stop both Kathy and Lou caught some really big trout on a live shrimp / popping cork combo. We finished the day with Lou catching a nice flounder and Kathy catching a nice slot redfish. Both ladies got the Northeast Florida slam today (Trout, Redfish, Flounder). Way to go!-Capt. Tommy
