What a fantastic day of fishing in St. Augustine! This morning I had repeat clients Hugh, Hugh Jr., and Lou out for a 3/4 day charter. We started by hooking into a few redfish only to have them pull the hook before getting to the boat. At our next stop Hugh Jr. hooked into a mean, drag screaming redfish that went about 5lbs. At our next stop they got a few nice fish including trout, redfish, and flounder. We then took a ride out along the beach in search of some action and found it in the way of some huge bait pods being attacked by bluefish. After having fun with the blues for awhile we came back inshore where they finished up with a flounder, jack, and Hugh Jr's MONSTER redfish. This was a really cool red with no spots (they typically have at least one on each side). Great day as always fellas!
