What a beautiful day on the water!... This morning I had Lowell and his sons Dillon and Todd out for a half day of fishing in St. Augustine. We started by tossing some top-water plugs for redfish at first light. Dillon was up first with a red on top. Todd was up next with a nice slot redfish. We had a few more followers and then Dillon's plug got smashed as it came over a submerged oyster bar. It was another nice slot redfish. After catching some reds we decided to hit the beach in search of some tarpon and sharks. We found a ton of big sharks but no tarpon. After some drag screaming action on the beach we called it a day. Great day of fishing guys!
