What an outstanding day of fishing in St. Augustine!... This morning I had repeat clients Tom, Patty, and James out for a charter. We stayed up in the shallow stuff for most of the morning looking for redfish... and we found them! They each caught some really nice upper slot reds including one double up that Patty and James had. After catching some more redfish we decided to head off the beach to look for something bigger. We found some bait pods and fished them for a little bit where Tom caught a big bonnet head shark. We then headed to the dock to drop off Tom and Patty and pick up Tommy and Luke to go back out for a few hours. They wanted to get into something big so we headed back off the beach. We were greeted with tarpon going airborne all over the place. We didn't hook up but they did hook into some big sharks including one that Tommy hooked that had to be pushing 100lbs. Fun day guys!
