What a fantastic day of fishing in St. Augustine!.. This morning I had repeat clients Jeff and Jared out for a half day charter. We started up in the shallows where we went looking for some redfish and... we found 'em! Jeff was up first and hooked into a monster redfish that screamed the drag. about half way back to the boat the fish came off. When the hook came in we noticed it had actually broke in half!... tough fish! After that we had a few more pull the hook but then they started catching some nice ones. A short while later Jared caught a huge flounder weighing in over 5lbs! Jared was up next with a nice 6lb redfish. We finished the day playing with some jacks that were busting bait all around us. Great day of fishing and fun as always guys!
