Wow!!! What a difference a day makes in the weather! Today the sun was shinning and the winds were light making for some great fishing conditions. I was really happy the weather got nice because today was Nathan and Sandra's last day with me after a great week of catching. They started off by catching a bunch of redfish on live bait. About halfway through the trip we switched it up to a Fishbites artificial lure and the big redfish were eating it up! Sandra got a couple upper slot fish and Nathan sight-fished a really big redfish. It was awesome watching Nathan make a perfect cast to a the red only to have him inhale the lure and put up a great fight to the boat. It was a great week of fishing and I'm sad to see the Craigs go but I'm already looking forward to having them back on the boat in the spring.
