Another great day of fishing in St. Augustine!... Yesterday morning I had Chuck and Maurice out for a half day charter. The weather started out a little sketchy with a front passing through the area. High winds and a cold drizzle made it a little tough to start but Maurice hooked into and caught a perfect 27" redfish that put up one heck of a fight. A little bit later the skies cleared and the fishing turned on big time! The guys got into a serious trout bite with over 20 trout coming over the side of the boat. They also got into some nice flounder and redfish. They each got the Northeast Florida Slam (redfish, trout, flounder). On a side note they also caught a few goliath grouper which was a nice surprise. Really fun day of fishing fellas! We had scheduled today to fish as well but cold temps and high winds kept us off the water. Looking forward to next time guys!
