Video of Colton's Tarpon....
Wow!!! What an epic day of fishing in St. Augustine!.. This morning I had repeat clients Ken and Colton out for a half day charter. We started off in the extreme shallow stuff where we found some redfish in water so shallow they had half of their backs out of the water. Colton hooked one that was up so shallow that it was near impossible to get him in as he broke off on the exposed oyster bars. The guys did land some really nice redfish including one MONSTER that Colton got. After they got dinner we made a move off the beach where Colton hooked into a huge tarpon. This fish put on quite the arial display jumping a bunch of times before coming boat side. Colton fought him like a pro landing him in short order. THey hooked a couple sharks after that and we called it a day. Great day fellas!
