What an awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine!.. This morning both Capt. Charlie and I had the rare day off so we decided to do some scouting. We are both avid fly fisherman (even though we don't get to toss the long rod as much as we would like) so a day with hardly any wind and clear water is about as good as it gets. We both caught some mid slot redfish on the fly and we also got some good sized trout. The weather is looking fantastic for the upcoming week and with the rest of the month booked solid with charters I'm looking forward to some more great fishing!
