St. Augustine / Palm Coast Fishing Report January 8th...

 What an awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine!.. Wow!!! we've had some crazy weather this past week. It was so cold and windy we didn't get out on the water all week... talk about cabin fever! It was great to be back out there today in much better, and warmer conditions. This morning I had Nick out for a half day charter. The water temp is waaaay down and that means clear water and sight-fishing for redfish up in the super shallow stuff. We didn't have the best conditions but Nick did catch some really redfish. We found some big schools and they were acting a little cold to say the least. Nick did catch all his fish on soft plastic lures today. I can't wait for the next couple months... with this cold snap and clear water the fishing in going tore outstanding!!!!
