An absolutely awesome day on the water today!.. This morning I had Dave out on the boat on the hunt for some redfish. We started up in the shallows tossing a red head / white bodied Heddon Super Spook Jr. top-water lure (They've got a great selection of these at The Bait Bucket tackle shop). Dave was working the plug like a pro and caught a few really nice redfish. I don't know how many we had come up to the plug and miss but the fish were definitely interested. Once the sun got up we switched it up to some live shrimp and we caught a few more nice slot redfish and a few nice trout. We ended the day up in the shallows again and got another upper slot redfish and lost one nice fish right at the boat. I had a fun time fishing and just hanging out with ya today Dave!-Capt. Tommy
