St. Augustine / Palm Coast Fishing Report June 17th...

What a beautiful day on the water!.. This morning I had repeat client Paul along with Jim out for a half day of fishing in St. Augustine. They started by tossing some top-water plugs at first light. They had some really nice blow ups form some reds and trout but they just weren't getting the hooks. We switched it up to some live bait and they each caught a couple redfish fishing in some deeper water. A little while later we found a nice school of fish along the ICW bank and Jim had a few big redfish eat his Slayer Inc. paddle tail rig but hey just didn't stay hooked up. Paul did get one of the big reds to eat and he landed a stud of fish that measured right at 26.75". Fun day of fishing fellas!
